From Victoria, Virginia, Jeff moved to Charleston in 1998 to study at Johnson & Wales University. Jeff spends his days perfecting the menus of countless affairs for iron gate events. Jeff’s creativity and dedication has won him many awards recognizing his culinary talent including 3 consecutive wins in the ACE culinary competition. He is also proud to represent ige for 2 years in the Charleston Wine & Food Festival’s sold out Lowcountry Gospel Brunch. Jeff’s motto, “Simple food and simple flavors” along with fresh quality ingredients inspire his menu design and culinary style.

Kyle Hinton, Chef de Cuisine

A native of Charleston and a graduate from the Culinary Institute Of Charleston Chef Kyle draws much of his inspiration from the many flavors and ingredients native to the Southern United States. With ten years of experience in various facets of culinary execution and management Kyle continues to push himself by searching for new techniques and ingredients.  Kyle has received recognition both locally and nationally for his creativity and attention to detail.

From Mendham, New Jersey, Jenna moved to Charleston in 2003 to study at the College of Charleston.  Driven by her passion for food and love of fabulous events, she joined the ige team in 2007. Starting as an events manager then moving to sales coordinator and now as Catering Director, Jenna could not be more proud of what ige has become today. A never-ending excitement for events motivates her to consistently strive for excellence in food and services and settle for nothing less.
